A reported armed robbery at a deli in Belleville has police on the scene investigating.
Police responded to the single digit block of Newark Avenue at around 8:45 to take a report of an armed robbery at the Pat's Deli.
According to preliminary reports, two male suspects (a white male and a black male) entered the establishment armed with a gun and took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were last observed near the Stephen Crane housing complex in Newark.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
