Authorities from the Nj State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a toll plaza in Kearny last night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of an armed robbery that took place at toll booth 15W shortly before 8 pm where State Police arriving at the scene were informed that a toll collector was robbed by occupants in a vehicle at knife-point.
The suspects took an unknown amount of cash before speeding away from the scene reports said.
NJ State officials said there were no injuries and the incident remains under investigation.
