Police in Newark are on the search for two suspects wanted for an armed robbery of a gas station in the city’s North Ward.
According to police, it happened just before 9:25 p.m. at the Millennium Gas Station located in the 100 block of Bloomfield Avenue.
Police say two black male suspects approached the attendant armed with a gun and demanded cash. Immediately after the robbery, the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Police say the attendant required medical attention for a non-life-threatening injury obtained during the robbery.
The suspects remain at-large.
