Police in Jersey City are investigating an armed robbery that happed near a train station in the city Wednesday night.
Police said at approximately 10:30 p.m., dispatchers were informed by the victim that an armed suspect robbed them near 485 Marin Boulevard.
Officers canvassed the scene and detained a suspect who is believed to have committed the crime.
Police say the victim reported several personal items taken during the robbery.
There were no physical injuries reported.
