Elizabeth Police are continuing to search for a group of males that committed an armed robbery on Wednesday morning in the city.
According to reports, police responded to the area of Hampton Place near the Bank of America sometime around 11:30 a.m. after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Units arrived to the scene where they located the victim who reported being robbed at gunpoint by a group of males wearing green bandanas.
The suspects took the woman's pocketbook and other personal possessions before running from the scene reports said.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
