There is an active search for several suspects wanted for an armed robbery of a Newark West Ward gas station.
The early morning robbery happened at the Citgo gas station shortly before 2 p.m. where as many as three suspects exited a gray minivan armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun then demanded cash from employees.
The men sped away from the scene in the minivan that had a reported Pennsylvania license plate number "HKL-1582."
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
