An armed carjacking that was reported overnight in the city's West Ward is under investigation.
Police responded to reports of a carjacking at gunpoint that happened in the 100 block of Norman Road shortly after midnight.
Responding units located the victim who reported that a black male suspect approached and brandished a gun then demanded the vehicle.
Police are looking for a 2007 Chevy Impala with a reported NJ licenses plate number "L10GNE".
The suspect was reportedly wearing a mask.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
