East Orange Police are looking for an armed carjacking who stole a vehicle from a person in the city Friday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were notified of a carjacking in progress in the vicinity of 84 Brookwood around 9:15 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and were informed by the victim that an armed suspect had taken their silver Honda CRV.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "U84-JEN."
The suspect is considered armed, dangerous and remains at large.
No serious injuries were reported.
