An early morning domestic dispute left a woman seriously injured after being stabbed in Newark's Vailsburgh section.
A report of a person injured from a stabbing that took place in the 20's block of Varsity Road sent police and EMS to the scene where they found a woman suffering serious stab injuries. The woman was rushed to University Hospital where her injuries were reported to be serious.
Police took a male suspect into custody who was believed to be related to the woman.
