Authorities launched an investigation following multiple reports of stolen packages, with losses exceeding $700.

Detectives meticulously reviewed security footage from nine separate thefts and determined that the same individual was responsible.

Fortunately, patrol officers had previously interacted with a man matching the suspect’s description and had recorded his information. This key detail enabled detectives to positively identify Tucker, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Bloomfield patrol units successfully located and apprehended Tucker, bringing an end to his alleged theft spree.

"I would like to commend the members of our department who collaborated to bring this suspect into custody," said Bloomfield Police Chief George Ricci. "Additionally, I want to thank the community members who provided valuable video evidence.

Their assistance enhances investigations and increases the chances of successfully identifying and apprehending criminals. Our detectives spent hours reviewing footage, and our patrol units demonstrated vigilance in gathering key suspect information. This teamwork led to the resolution of these crimes."
