Newark Police have issued an arrest warrant for 46-year-old Ms. Kizzy Polk of Newark following an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The incident occurred on January 3, 2024, at Bradley Court, an apartment complex on N. Munn Avenue.
At around 6:49 p.m., the victim, residing at Bradley Court, responded to a knock at her front door.
She was confronted by Polk, who has since been identified as the assailant. In a violent encounter, Polk used a box cutter to slash the victim on her forehead and cheek.
The victim received medical treatment at University Hospital.
Described as a Black female, 5'5" tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium complexion, Polk is known to frequent the Chelsea Avenue area in Newark.
Director Fragé is calling for public assistance in locating Polk.

The police are seeking the community's help to ensure Polk is apprehended swiftly for this serious assault.
