Police officials in Newark are reporting that Fleming Avenue, between Oxford and Christie streets, is closed due to a water main break that occurred in the area.
Police say Freeman Street is also closed between Ferry Street and Raymond Boulevard.
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes while repairs are being made.
