Police in Newark seek the public’s assistance in identifying female individuals wanted for questioning in orchestrating an armed robbery and vehicle theft that occurred on Saturday, June 27.
According to a statement released by police, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a victim’s vehicle was taken by suspects before he was robbed of his personal property at gunpoint, by two males, in the area of 17th Avenue and South 18th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying these suspects as part of this investigation.
Police say the two male suspects (not pictured) are each described as 5’7” tall and 140 lbs.
One was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Police say the other was wearing a maroon sweater with a hood and blue jeans.
