ALERT: Suspects Wanted for Armed Carjacking in Newark

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspects in connection with a carjacking that occurred on Friday, December 2.

According to Newark Police, a victim double-parked his black 2016 Audi A4 in the 400 block of Bloomfield Avenue to run an errand at a business.

Police say the vehicle was left running with two juvenile passengers inside.

Two male suspects entered the vehicle, locked it from the inside, and drove off. The suspects then ordered the juveniles to get out of the car.

According to authorities, the juveniles were unharmed and were reunited with the adult victim without further incident.

Detectives investigating this incident report that both suspects are Hispanic males.

Detectives say suspect one was wearing gray jeans, white low-top Air Force One sneakers, and a black bubble coat.

Suspect 2 is described as wearing gray sweatpants, a black hooded jacket, a black ski mask, and black sneakers.
