Police in Newark requests the public’s help with identifying suspects who are wanted for a shooting incident on May 17.
Acording to officials, police responded to a call about shots fired at 5:03 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue.
Officers investigating the incident learned that the two male suspects, who were wearing black ski masks and black clothing, were captured on surveillance shooting handguns on 6th Avenue.
Two vehicles were damaged in the incident.
While detectives investigate this incident and seek the public’s help with identifying the suspects, Director O’Hara urges anyone with information about the individuals to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
