Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella Maeweather has announced that a private drone light show is set to take place on Saturday, December 14, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The event will occur above The Palace at Somerset, located at 333 Davidson Avenue, and will feature around 200 drones.
According to the announcement, the company managing the event has received all necessary approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The 15-minute display will be confined to the airspace directly above The Palace at Somerset, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
Local law enforcement and fire officials have been informed about the event.
Residents are advised that there is no cause for concern and no need to contact 911 to report the drone activity during the scheduled time.
The light show is expected to be a visually striking spectacle and has been carefully coordinated to ensure public safety and compliance with federal aviation regulations.
