Newark's Public Safety Director, Fritz Fragé, has issued a plea for the community's help in locating 13-year-old Kasche F. Fortune, who was reported missing on October 24.
Kasche, an African-American juvenile, was last seen leaving her residence in the 300 block of Schley Street.
She was wearing a black hair bonnet, a grey jacket, and black Adidas pants at the time of her disappearance.
Described as 5'4" and weighing 100 pounds, Kasche has brown eyes, black hair, and a light brown complexion.
Authorities believe she may be in the vicinity of the 100 block of 1st Street.
Director Fragé is urging anyone who may have information regarding Kasche's whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search effort.
