ALERT: Police Seek Missing 72-Year-Old Belleville Man with Dementia

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 72-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Mr. Oscar Lindao, 72, was last seen on October 6, 2024, at approximately 12:15 PM, walking on William Street in Belleville. 

Police said Lindao was wearing a distinctive white windbreaker jacket with a yellow and red stripe on the arms and a blue stripe on the back.

He was also dressed in blue jeans, blue Sketcher sneakers, and a white baseball hat. He is approximately 5’5” in height and weighs about 150 pounds. 

Police say Lindao is known to frequent several areas, including Pueblo's Supermarket in Newark, St. Peter's Church in Belleville, St. Michael's Church in Newark, the Prudential Projects (Aspen River Park), and Bethel Assembly of God in Newark.
