The West Orange Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating 18-year-old Gideon Akwei, who was last seen at his residence on the evening of September 27, 2024.
According to authorities, Akwei was last seen around 7:30 p.m. after attending a soccer game at West Orange High School.
The following morning, his parents discovered he was not in his bedroom.
Akwei is described as approximately 5'6" tall, weighing 165 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black sweatsuit and black sneakers.
He is known to use a black mountain bike for transportation.
