Police officials in Newark requests the public’s help in locating Mr. Jose Dequeiroz, 72, of Newark, who has been reported missing from the 100 block of Summer Avenue.
According to police, Mr. Dequeiroz, who was last seen at 6 p.m. yesterday, is suicidal and has recently shown concerns of poor mental status, such as wandering, excessive anxiety and is a frequent runaway.
Police say he wore a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans and black loafers.
While police are actively searching for Mr. Dequeiroz, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating him and returning him to his family.
Mr. Dequeiroz speaks only Portuguese, but also understands Spanish.
Police sad he is known to frequent Riverbank Park; Andros Restaurant, at 6 Wilson Avenue; 85 Ferguson Street; and Altas Horas Lanches, at 266 Ferry Street.
