Police officials in Newark are seeking the public’s help in locating Ms. Juanita Preston, 62, who was reported missing yesterday, July 24.In an early morning statement, Director Fritz G. Fragé announced that Ms. Preston, who suffers from bipolar disorder and depression, was last seen at 11 a.m. in the area of Marie Place and Ridgewood Avenue in the city’s South Ward.
Ms. Preston is described as having a light complexion, standing 5’6” tall, weighing 100 pounds, with brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a gray shirt with multi-colored polka dots, possibly gray pants, using a black cane, and is known to wear a hand brace.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Juanita Preston to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
