Police in Newark requests the public’s help with identifying a suspect wanted in connectiond with a shooting that occurred on April 25.
According to authorities, Newark Police responded to reports of shots fired around 6:44 p.m. in the 300 block of 18th Avenue.
Upon arrival, a male victim told officers he heard gunfire and realized that he had been struck in the leg.
While detectives investigate this incident and seek the public’s help with identifying this suspect, Director O’Hara urges anyone with information about the individual to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
