**UPDATED 11:01 pm Found safe at Penn Station Newark Police said. She is en route to University Hospital as a precaution.** A child that walked off a playground at a Newark West Ward housing project has police searching for the girl.
According to family members, the girl **"Nevaeh"** is reportedly around the age of 8-year-old and was last seen at the Bradley Court complex at around 10:30 am.

UPDATE 2:45 pm The Essex County Sheriff's Department has joined in on the search. Another child possibly accompanies Nevaeh.

UPDATE 3:56 pm Police said Nevaeh Blaine went missing from the Bradley Court Housing Community (78 S. Munn Ave., Newark, NJ) at about 0945 hours. According to her mother. Nevaeh went outside to play in the community playground at around 9:30 am and was with other children who lived in the community.
Police said that at approximately 9:45 am, Nevaeh was seen by friends walking out of the community playground and toward a grocery store Maybaum Ave/ Tremont Ave.
Nevaeh is an African American female with brown skin, is very thin and stands at about 4'0 tall. She was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and purple shoes/ sandals.
She has dark brown eyes and hair, and her hair is styled in three ponytails: 2 in front and 1 in the back. She is of good mental and physical condition.
