Police in Newark are on the search for several suspects wanted for carjacking a victim in the city's Ironbound section a short time ago.
The vehicle is a dark blue Chevy Malibu with reported NJ license plate numbers "RVP-31W".
According to preliminary reports, 3-4 black male suspects approached the victim at gunpoint in the area of Bruen and Hamilton street before 7:05 a.m. and took the vehicle.
The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
