Newark Police officials seek the public’s help locating Jalysia Carey, 16, of Newark, who was reported missing on Sunday, February 19.
Police said Jalysia, a frequent runaway, was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt with graphic designs and black pants.
According to police, Jalysia is 4’7” tall, weighs 90 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
Jalysia is known to frequent the Georgia King Village apartment complex and is usually associated with her boyfriend.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jalysia Carey to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
