Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé has called for public support in the search for 14-year-old Manayah Maxine Brodie, originally from Nottingham, Maryland, and a former resident of Newark.Baltimore County Police have identified Manayah as a runaway who is believed to have returned to Newark, seeking the familiarity of her old neighborhood in the South Ward and the company of relatives and friends.
Described as standing 5’3” tall and weighing 110 pounds, the search for Manayah is of utmost priority to ensure her safe return.
Director Fragé emphasizes the critical role that the Newark community can play in locating Manayah by urging anyone with information on her current whereabouts to come forward.
The Newark Police Division has made available a 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) for anyone who might have seen Manayah or has any information that could aid in her recovery.
Director Fragé assures the public that all tips received through the Crime Stopper line will remain anonymous and confidential, and information leading to Manayah’s location could be eligible for a reward.
