Police in Newark are on the search for several armed men who pulled off an armed robbery of a Newark North Ward resident Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 1:01 p.m. in the 20's block of Clark Street. Authorities say the victim was standing in the area when a vehicle pulled occupied by as many as four suspects with one of the men exiting the car and pointed a gun at the victim; demanding personal possessions.
Police say the vehicle is a blue **Toyota Rav 4 with Delaware license plates**.
Immediately after the robbery, the suspect jumped into the vehicle and sped southbound on McCarter Highway.
The men are possibly wanted for multiple armed robberies in the region including one that took place overnight in Orange.
There were no physical injuries reported.
