The Honorable NAACP Newark Branch President Deborah Smith Gregory is pleased to announce the opening of their annual scholarship application.
According to President Gregory, eligible seniors from all Newark high schools are encouraged to apply.
They can access the directions and application by clicking HERE.
President Smith-Gregory said once the PDF is downloaded, it can be filled in directly on a device.
The submission due date is Thursday, June 15, 2023.
Chartered in 1914, the Newark Branch of NAACP is now one of the oldest and largest branches in the state and country. For over 100 years, more than 1,000 volunteer members in the greater Newark area have volunteered countless hours to serve the community in the areas of civil rights, education, health, labor, economic empowerment, civic engagement, and legal redress.
