Police are trying to locate 40-year-old Jason Mackey in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred yesterday.
According to police, at approximately 10:05 p.m., officers heard gunshots in the area of 7th Avenue East and Stone Street. Police observed property damage resulting from the gunfire, but no injuries were reported.
Detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to identify Jason Mackey as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Criminal Mischief.
While police are actively searching for Mackey, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from the streets.
