**UPDATED: 6:10am: FOUND SAFE on Irvine Turner Boulevard**
The public’s assistance is sought in locating **Altaquan Mitchell, 16, of Newark,** who family members reported missing on -today- Thursday.
According to police, Mitchell has autism and was last seen at his home at approximately 11:45 p.m., March 28.
Police say Mitchell wore a white t-shirt and black sweatpants when family last observed him.
Mitchell is 6’1” tall, weighs approximately 130 lbs., and has a dark complexion. According to police, Mitchell wore no jacket or shoes when he left his home.
While police are actively searching for Mitchell, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning him to his family.
