A Keansburg man was killed this morning in a house fire on Shore Boulevard, police said.
The fire broke out sometime around 10 this morning on the corner of Shore Boulevard and Neptune Place.
Upon arrival, smoke and flames could be seen coming from the home, while a person was reported trapped inside, according to officials.
The unidentified man died after being trapped in a room in the front of the home.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
According to official, while other people were in the home when fire broke out, no one else was injured.
The fire remains under investigation.
