$5K Reward Offered for Information on Gloucester Twp. Rite Aid Robbery

Gloucester Township New Jersey

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a robbery at a Rite Aid pharmacy in Gloucester Township.

The incident happened on Monday morning when Gloucester Township Police Communications received two 911 calls at approximately 09:40 a.m. from employees inside the Rite Aid on the 1400 block of Chews Land Road reporting an armed robbery.

The suspect, described as a thin built white male with razor stubble, wearing a grey shirt and a baseball style hat, held up the pharmacist with a hand gun and fled in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of prescription medication.

At this time, detectives do not believe this robbery is related to a robbery that occurred yesterday at a Rite Aid in Haddonfield.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Vince McCalla at (856) 225-8569 or the Gloucester Township Police Department at (856) 228-4500.
