TRENTON (Sept. 24, 2018) – There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday, September 22 drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.
If that ticket had been purchased with Power Play, it would have multiplied the prize to $250,000. The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at Foodtown, 597 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove in Essex County.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, September 22 drawing were: 24, 61, 63, 64 and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 18. The Multiplier number was 05.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $193,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 10:59 pm. In addition to the third-tier prizewinning ticket sold, there were 25,607 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $166,574 in prizes ranging from $4 to $500, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.
