The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force concluded a month-long investigation this week with one arrest and the seizure of $50,000 in marijuana products, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
According to authorities, on Apr. 18th, officers arrested Boyler after the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, and the East Windsor, Hamilton, Princeton, and Trenton police, under the command of the prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit, executed search warrants at his Forest Drive residence in East Windsor.
Prosecutor Onofri said a search of the home revealed approximately 10 pounds of high- grade marijuana valued at about $40,000, one box of edible marijuana chocolate bars valued at roughly $1,000, and approximately 90 grams of pure THC oil, used in vape pens, valued at about $9,000.
Authorities charged Boyler, 39, with second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and second-degree possession with the intent to distribute. He was released pending future court proceedings.
Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
