5 Different Types of Content To Grow Your Business Together

New Jersey

Q3 MasterclassBy: O.L./Sway Buckley

Creating content to grow our business as marriedprenurs is not for the faint at heart.

Although you are in business, there are different types of content or content buckets that, when used together, position your business to grow through trust and value.

Those are the two currencies required for someone to go from cold to hot and ready to buy.

As shared in other articles, content creation doesn't have to be a full-time job (it can be, but it doesn't have to be!) Why is this important? Content builds trust when it's high value. Trust turns into a transaction.

Marriedpreneur LifeSo if you or your spouse (depending on who does what in your business) needs help knowing where to begin or want to add variety, keep reading.

Here are five content types.

It goes something like this:

  1. Educational: This is great for those who don't know they have a problem (and you're the solution). You can share red flags to look out for, what to do if they have those red flags, etc.
  2. Engaging: This is to grow community. Ask a question to get to know your 'following' There's a saying: humanize before you monetize. This means people are interested in authenticity. They know the difference.
  3. Entertaining: This can be documenting non-business areas of life or showing behind-the-scenes sneak peeks. This gives people a closer look into your life and how things work.
  4. Encourage To Take Action: In other words, tell people what the next step is if they want to work with you. Don't wait for them to ask. Give them a clear CTA: Call To Action.
  5. Empower: How can you make them feel heard and seen? Share emotional insights of what it feels like to be them in relation to your product/ service. There's a pain, and your service/product offers pleasure. When you identify with them, it says you understand.
