There were no injuries reported in a raging 4-alarm blaze that tore through a large apartment building in West New York late last night.
Firefighters responded to several calls of fire in a building located at 234 51st Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, crews noticed heavy flames ripping through the upper floors and roof of the building.
Firefighters began to gain control of the blaze a little after 3:30 a.m. About 35 residents were displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
