Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 11:40, a.m. today, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 20-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police say based on the initial investigation, the shooting took place in the area of 12th Avenue and Auburn Street in Paterson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
