There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched the 5 white balls drawn to win the $1,000,000 second-prize for the Aug. 19th drawing. If that ticket had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, it would have doubled the prize to $2,000,000.
The winning ticket was purchased in Passaic County at Old Forge Spirits & Pub, 139 Skyline Dr., Ringwood.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, Aug. 19 drawing were: 17, 19, 39, 43 and 68. The Red Power Ball number was 13. The Multiplier number was 04.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $650,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 10:59 pm.
In addition, six New Jersey Lottery tickets were sold that matched the 4 white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third prize. If those tickets had been purchased with Power Play, it would have multiplied the prize to $200,000.
