Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there was one New Jersey ticket sold that matched the five white balls drawn winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize for the Friday, June 16 drawing.
If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $5,000,000.
The ticket was sold at Quick Chek #53, 625 North Midland Ave., Saddle Brook in Bergen County.
The winning numbers were: 18, 22, 26, 30 and 44. The Gold Mega Ball was 09 and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.
In addition, 50 tickets sold matched the four white balls winning $500 each. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,500 each.
Moreover, 92,710 other New Jersey players took home $190,621 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.
