Police in Plainfield are looking into a shooting that injured a man on Monday evening.
According to Plainfield Police officials, the incident happened at approximately 8:36 pm where units responded to the 800 block of Richmond Street to investigate a report of shots fired with a possible gunshot victim.
Officials say officers located an 18-year-old Plainfield resident with a non-life-threatening wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and remain in stable condition according to police.
There are no arrests reported.
