Authorities have identified the 17-year-old found dead after a stone slab fell on him in the township's Bayville section.
Jared Marchiano, 17, of Bayville was allegedly attempting to walk between marble and granite slabs when a piece fell on top of him.
According to authorities, a person driving near the area discovered the body around 6:40 a.m. when he proceeded to alert police.
Although police determined that the 650 pound piece fell and killed Marchiano, it's not clear at this time when the accident occurred.
