Newark Public Safety officials report that a 17-year-old female juvenile has been arrested and charged with four robberies that occurred on the same South Ward street last month.
According to Newark officials, in each incident, which involved male suspects, the victims contacted someone on Facebook Market Place about buying a cell phone.
Officials say, the victims were then robbed of their money and cell phones when they agreed to meet on Hedden Terrace between West Runyon Street and Clinton Avenue.
The robberies, three of them at gunpoint, occurred on October 2, 10, 13, and 21.
According to Newark Police, officers arrested the juvenile suspect on October 21, after developing information during the investigation that she had a history of Facebook Market Place robberies on Hedden Terrace.
In addition to robbery, the juvenile was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy.
