Police in Bloomfield are investigating a reported burglary that had thieves stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry in early April.
According to a statement released by police, authorities say on April 4tth officers responded to 622 Bloomfield Avenue on reports of a burglary.
Police say the complainant had some problems with the landlord and was not able to open her jewelry store since March 23rd where she returned and observed several necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and watches valued at $15,000 missing.
Police say signs of forced entry were observed on the entryway door of the store and an investigation has been launched.
There were no arrests reported.
