Detectives in Camden County are investigating the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old juvenile male in Camden, Acting Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. McAuley announced.
According to Camden County authorities, officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Saturday in the 2100 block of Sewell Street.
Upon arrival, officers located the juvenile unconscious, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the EMS rushed the boy to Cooper Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries at approximately 9:26 p.m.
