Passaic Fire Chief Pat Trentacost announced that at 7:53 p.m. on Friday, police and fire officials responded to a four-alarm fire at a six-family residence located at 287 Hope Street in the City of Passaic,
Officials said 13 residents were displaced as a result of the fire, and one firefighter sustained minor injuries and was treated and released from the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
