A 12-year-old girl suffered a head injury after being hit by a vehicle while riding her bicycle on Tuesday, September 26.
Belleville Police said the incident took place around 5:50 p.m. near 122 Nolton Street.
According to the Belleville Police Traffic Bureau, the young cyclist was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for her injuries.
The vehicle involved, a 2007 Honda Pilot, remained at the scene post-accident, and its driver cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
Authorities have not reported any other injuries related to the incident.
The Belleville Police Traffic Bureau is actively examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
