Authorities are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and an indictment in connection with the disappearance of a Linden woman reported missing on March 8, 2016.
According to police, she was last seen at the Long Branch train station at approximately 7 p.m. after a friend dropped her off.
Detectives from Linden are working with several other agencies including the NJ Transit Police Department, looking over video footage to locate the woman.
According to authorities, on March 8, 2016, Tyrita R. Julius, 41, of Linden, went to lunch with a friend in Monmouth County.
Authorities said Julius did not have a car because her original vehicle was struck by several bullets last November when a gunman approached their vehicle and shot at her and her daughter while they were in the car.
Her daughter suffered a graze wound but Mrs. Julius was struck several times and was hospitalized for a period of time authorities said.
Julius is still undergoing physical therapy, according to family members. Her friend told police that she dropped Mrs. Julius off at the Long Branch train station for the ride back to Linden but she never arrived.
The Union County Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment in this matter, as well as any other information as to the whereabouts of Tyrita Julius.
