Newark – Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura’s Crimestoppers Program is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Alvis G. Carrington, 43, of Newark..
Authorities said on May 31, at 11:48 pm. Carrington, an animal control officer, was shot in front of 239 Wainwright Street in Newark.
Carrington was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
