James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, Sept. 4th drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.
One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $30,000.
Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:
Burlington County ($30,000): Shoprite of Hainesport, 1520 Route 38 East, Hainesport; and,
Bergen County ($10,000): Shoprite of Oakland, 14 Post Rd., Oakland.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Sept. 4th drawing were: 02, 07, 25, 35 and 44. The Gold Mega Ball was 03, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
In addition, 14 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,500.
Moreover, 32,052 other New Jersey players took home $138,310 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600, according to Carey.
“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
