Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Spotswood Police Department Chief Phillip Corbisiero have jointly announced an ongoing investigation into the tragic drowning of a one-year-old boy.
Police say at around 11:22 A.M., the Spotswood Police Department received an emergency 911 call notifying them of a distressing incident involving a child found unresponsive in a pool.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency responders initiated CPR on the one-year-old child and swiftly transported him to a medical facility.
Despite their efforts, the young child was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
